Rules of the gate.
Plain-language terms. No 12-page contracts, no traps. Use Cerberops fairly and we both win.
On this page
1. The agreement
By creating a Cerberops account you agree to these terms. If you're signing up for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to this agreement.
2. Your account
- Keep your login credentials secret — you are responsible for activity on your account
- One human per login. Don't share accounts. Invite team members properly via the Members page
- Notify us immediately at duty@cerberops.io if your account is compromised
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten platform stability
3. Acceptable use
You may use Cerberops to monitor systems you own or have explicit permission to monitor. You may not:
- Use Cerberops to probe, scan, or attack third-party systems without consent
- Use it for denial-of-service-style activity (e.g. setting a 1-second interval against someone else's API)
- Resell access to your account or expose Cerberops as a white-label product without a written agreement
- Bypass plan limits or attempt to circumvent rate limits
- Upload illegal content via assertion bodies or webhook destinations
We enforce gentle defaults: the minimum check interval is 60 seconds, and our prober honours robots.txt
and self-rate-limits to avoid hammering your endpoints. Don't try to lower these limits client-side.
4. Payment & cancellation
- Personal plan: €7/month, billed monthly via Stripe
- Enterprise plan: €99/month, billed monthly via Stripe
- All prices include applicable taxes where required (VAT collected per EU rules)
- You can cancel anytime from
/billing. The current billing period stays active until the end - No refunds for unused partial months. We're a small team and we honor cancellations promptly instead
- If a payment fails we'll retry; persistent failure downgrades the account to Free after 7 days
5. Availability & SLA
Cerberops itself is built for high availability. Our published service-level commitment is:
- 99.9% monthly uptime for the dashboard and the monitoring scheduler
- ≤ 5 minutes alert delivery latency once an incident is confirmed
If we miss the 99.9% target in a given calendar month, Enterprise customers receive a pro-rated service credit on the next invoice. Contact duty@cerberops.io with the incident reference.
6. Liability
Cerberops is a tool that helps you detect downtime — it cannot prevent it. We do our best, but:
- The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond the SLA above
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or revenue-loss damages
- This is a tools agreement, not an insurance contract — if uptime is critical, use Cerberops as one of several safeguards
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email and posted here at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Cerberops after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law: European Union (Estonia). Disputes are first resolved through good-faith conversation — contact duty@cerberops.io.
